Strength training for women
Strength training is important for men, but it is just as important that women train with strength in mind as well. I think this is often not said enough.
I have seen a rise in women training with barbells and understanding strength training, which is great.
But there is still the common misconception that training with heavy weights will make women 'bulky'. This is simply not the case.
I want to encourage more women to lift heavy weights and gain the benefits that come with this, such as:
Facilitating fat loss
Increasing bone density (reducing risk of osteoperosis)
Strength for daily life
Women can, and should, train with heavy weights.
